This job is responsible for overseeing the Operations team and ensuring they meet deadlines, execute, and coordinate tasks. Key responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems, ensuring adherence to operations procedures, providing guidance to employees, handling exception requests, and referring more complex problems to a senior manager. Job expectations include having an understanding of foundational operations and familiarity in a specific product line.

The Securities Settlement and Custody Operations group plays a significant role within Wealth Management Operations (WMO). The organization is responsible for Clearing & Settlement for various Pierce and Private Bank distribution channels, servicing Private Bank Securities on PACE, Fund Relationship and Onboarding Mutual Fund & Alternative Investments.
The Senior Operations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the Operations team and ensuring they meet deadlines, execute, and coordinate tasks. Key responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems, ensuring adherence to operations procedures, providing guidance to employees, handling exception requests, and referring more complex problems to a senior manager. Job expectations include having an understanding of foundational operations and familiarity in a specific product line.
Opportunities exist for team members to develop leadership, project management and technological skills. The role provides an opportunity to liaise with fund companies and transfer agents to acquire knowledge related to technology business requirements, product fees and billing as well as trading.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Monitor accounting transactions and completion of annual financial statements and related activities for Charitable Gift Funds. Review of onboarding documents received from fund companies which provide instructions for the setup of Mutual Funds, Alternative Investments, Unit Investment Trusts, and various other products
Analysis of received data to ensure system supportability
Coordinates and manages team workflow across various systems to ensure daily processes are completed accurately and deliverables are met
Provides day-to-day training and coaching to team members while addressing employee inquiries and escalations
Monitors team service levels, volume, performance metric reporting, escalating concerns where appropriate
Conducts quality assurance reviews and provides routine supervisory manager approvals
Testing of system enhancements based upon business initiatives
Frequent communication with internal and external business partners
Researches complex operational and client requests, issues, and escalations to identify root cause and assist with remediation efforts and solutions
Identifies and recommends opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation to senior management
Represents the team on various stakeholder calls and meetings
Involved in numerous initiatives to support the business, including building relationships, improving processes and supporting projects.
Required Qualifications:
Proven history of performing accounting and reconciliations functions.
Proven history of effective ownership and accuracy with an emphasis on attention to detail
Intellectually curious with a desire to identify and implement innovative solutions
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple job related duties including day to day tasks and project work in a deadline oriented environment
Ability to think critically while effectively managing and finding resolutions to complex situations independently
Acts proactively to identify, control, and mitigate risks
Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
Provide outstanding personalized service and exhibit professionalism in all situations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong background in Excel

This position is currently located at 901 Main Street, Dallas, TX but will relocate to the Addison campus at 16001 N Dallas Parkway in mid 2026. Successful candidate(s) for this role would be required to work in the Main Street location until the move to Addison occurs.
