About the Team:
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program supports end-to-end access management for all employees, contractors and the systems and applications to which access is granted.
Impact
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Automation Developer to join our Identity & Access Management (IAM) team, with a focus on automating manual processes that support all IAM pillars. This role will support in building scalable automation scripts and workflows that streamline attestation campaign initiation, privileged access certifications, and monitoring controls.
A support role in conceptualizing high-performance automation structures, executing seamless system integrations, and developing real-time data analytics and alert systems to enhance client operations. Primary responsibilities include monitoring and enhancing automation solutions, enabling cross-platform integrations, consulting with IAM teams to translate their needs into precise system specifications, and concurrently driving multiple projects to successful completion.
The ideal candidate combines scripting expertise with a strong understanding of IAM principles and a passion for operational efficiency.
Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to initiate UAR attestation campaigns across diverse applications and platforms
- Build workflows to support privileged access certifications, including time-bound access reviews and exception handling
- Automate monitoring controls for campaign progress, completion rates, and compliance metrics
- Support automation solutions with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Okta, and SharePoint Online
- Collaborate with IAM governance and process teams to translate business requirements into technical automation solutions
- Implement logging, alerting, and exception handling mechanisms to ensure reliability and traceability
- Document automation logic, workflows, and dependencies for operational transparency and knowledge sharing
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and enhance audit readiness
Skills and Qualification (Functional and Technical Skills)
Functional Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with Power Automate, PowerApps, or other low-code automation platforms
- Familiarity with IAM concepts including access certifications, attestations, and privileged access governance
- Hands-on experience integrating with IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta) and legacy systems (e.g., RACF)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, webbooks, and data transformation techniques
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Technical/Business Skills:
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of IAM Risk Framework and Identity Life Cycle Management.
- Experience in automating processes or access governance workflows
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53, SOX, or ISO 27001
- Background in financial services or regulated industries
- Familiarity with IAM processes and operations to automate workflows.
