We are seeking a friendly and attentive After-School Entry Coordinator to warmly welcome visitors, monitor building access, and ensure a clear understanding of who is in the school at all times.
Hours: 2:30 PM - 5:15 PM
Location: Lakeview School, Denville
General Function: To follow attendance protocols and First Aid protocols for the Lakeview after school site. This included making sure rosters, face counts, first aid logs, staff attendance is filled out daily. Must answer the phone and the door in a positive energetic friendly manner, greeting parents, checking identification, communicating any First Aid Issues from the Site Directors and Co-Directors to the parents.
Principal Job Segments:

Ensure all students are signed in accurately on rosters and in Playerspace; verify that no blanks are left and all children are accounted for.

Conduct face counts for each group every 30 minutes and reconcile with the master roster.

Immediately contact parents or guardians regarding any unaccounted-for children, leaving voicemails when necessary.

Verify identification of unfamiliar adults before releasing children.

Set up program supplies and materials at the parent sign-in/out table.

Ensure parents sign the First Aid Log upon picking up their child from Kids Club.

Provide positive guidance and redirection to children to prevent conflicts, arguments, or physical altercations.

Monitor dismissal areas to ensure children are not opening doors or lingering at the dismissal table without supervision.

Use sound judgment and common sense in all situations to maintain the safety and well-being of the children.

Ensure children returning from enrichment programs, clubs, or outside activities are signed back in and notify the appropriate group staff via radio for pickup.
