Assists with coordination of the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of clinical information systems across Temple University Heath System. Collaborates with enterprise and campus leadership to enhance clinical documentation and clinical workflow processes. Assists with the assessment of information technology opportunities to optimize system implementations, enhancements and upgrades, thereby improving care delivery, staff efficiency and patient safety. Apply broad informatics knowledge (both technical and process) to assist in the deployment and training of new system implementations and/or functionalities as well as evaluate and optimize system utilization and upgrades. Act as a key liaison between IT teams and end users, ensuring effective communication and understanding of system capabilities and user needs to enhance overall system performance and user satisfaction. Provide at-the-elbow support for clinical staff, offering hands-on assistance and guidance to ensure effective use and integration of clinical information systems. Must have an active/current nursing or other clinical credential.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Nursing or other clinical health care field Required
Master's Degree Nursing, Informatics, or Information Technology related field Preferred

Experience
1 year in a clinical role in a healthcare setting using clinical information systems Required
1 year in an application development and software solutions environment working with multiple environments and complex table layouts Required
1 year experience with all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle 
(SDLC) and/or project life cycle (PLC) Required
Experience with Epic EHR Required
General Experience Relevant nursing or other clinical credential Required
General Experience with large, complex healthcare projects Preferred
