TITLE OF VACANCY: Middle School Teacher – Math (Part-Time – 2 periods a day) LOCATION: Lincoln Magnet School CONTRACT PERIOD: 180 days REPORTS TO: Building Principal

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with middle school or high school math endorsement
- Knowledge of instructional practices that promote supportive learning environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form and have had prior experiences demonstrating the use of collaborative teamwork
- Experience in flexible grouping instructional practices
- Working knowledge of integrated instruction and student-centered learning
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with students to build organizational skills
- Provide support to students for core classes through a tutorial model
- Assist students with self-monitoring of academic progress and communication with teachers
- Work collaboratively with students and families to support student academic needs
- Other duties as assigned
