Job Description
The Senior Treasury Analyst performs a wide range of oversight and leadership over Treasury and liquidity management, banking services, Credit and Collections, and cash reconciliation functions of the company. This position will lead, direct, develop, and work collaboratively with Finance and other departments and will be proactive in continuous improvement initiatives while creating a positive corporate culture.
Requirements
Job Duties
- Treasury and Banking Operations
- Manage liquidity with a business line of credit while providing accuracy in cash forecasting and visibility to available cash
- Evaluate, implement, and administer processes and procedures in banking, movement of cash, vendor payments, credit card programs, and T&E expense management
- Manage relationships and negotiate rates available for traditional banks, PSP, and Merchant service providers. Work with marketing and finance on promotional opportunities to drive sales while lowering transaction costs as appropriate.
- Administrator for online bank and PSP portals, while ensuring integrity of user access and banking controls
- Cash Reconciliation
- Partner with various other departments on cash activity and improvement projects
- Credit and Accounts Receivable
- Oversee the establishment of credit/collection policies and procedures which includes but is not limited to managing credit limit guidelines, credit term guideline reviews, and ensuring the guidelines are implemented/enforced. Partner with customer service, sales, shipping and other internal departments across the businesses to identify and improve processes, maximize sales/minimize risk, and resolve problems.
- Develop and implement plans for maximizing collections and appropriate handling of accounts receivables. Manage and negotiate the resolution of collection matters with customers and payment settlements.
- Oversee the credit application and approval process for new and existing customers and the review of accounts receivable balances and bad debt reserves.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Leadership skills with an emphasis on problem solving, motivation, communication planning and attention to detail
- Ability to cross collaborate with other internal teams including Accounts Payable, Customer Service, Tax and Sales
- Ability to embrace change and work as a change agent as well as open to process improvements and process changes as the business continues to evolve
- Solid understanding of AR management and awareness of best practices
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Broad experience with Microsoft Office programs (particularly Excel/Google Sheets) and full suite accounting ERPs
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in treasury management
- Previous supervisory experience a plus
- Prior experience within automotive industry / products a plus
- NetSuite experience a plus
Supervisory Responsibility
This position provides leadership to all direct and indirect personnel in the area of AR, Credit & Treasury Management
Certificates & Licenses
- ARS desirable, but not required
- ARM desirable, but not required
- CTP desirable, but not required
Physical Demands
Ability to sit and stand appropriately for 8 or more hours at a time. Occasionally lifting of 25-50lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday serving as primary work week. As required to support the needs of the business; weekend work hours will additionally be required with team.
