The Senior Quality and Compliance Specialist is a strategic leader within the Quality and Compliance Department, responsible for ensuring integrity, performance and team morale. This role oversees the provider contracting process, coordinating internal communication for the Quality and Compliance Department, tracking the monitoring of the Provider Network and assigning and/or removing Providers from our Network. The Senior Quality and Compliance Specialist assigns Providers to Quality and Compliance Specialists for monitoring, identifies compliance risks, and partners with leadership, internal teams and external stakeholders to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Acting as a key liaison across departments and with network providers, this position drives operational excellence, mitigates risk, and ensures adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

- Manages a modified caseload and fulfills all core Specialist functions, while leading higher-level quality, compliance, and provider monitoring activities.
- Lead higher-level quality, compliance, and joint monitoring activities to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory standards.
- Reviews investigations, serious incidents, grievances, and complaints to ensure timely and appropriate resolution.
- Promotes and maintains a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment that supports staff well-being and organizational culture.
- Supports the development and implementation of performance improvement plans for contracted providers in partnership with the Quality and Compliance Team.
- Coordinates communication and collaboration with other 4Kids4Families departments to address provider questions, concerns, and quality improvement opportunities.
- Oversees the provider application process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
- Monitors shared email accounts to ensure monitoring requests from other SSCCs are distributed appropriately to assigned Quality and Compliance Specialists.
- Tracks monitoring schedules and manages Quality and Compliance Specialist caseload distribution to maintain balance and efficiency.
- Assists the Supervisor with special projects, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives as needed.
- Partners with leadership to ensure all activities are conducted in alignment with contractual requirements, state and federal regulations, organizational policies, and regulatory agency standards.
- Provides training, mentorship, and support to new employees to promote consistency and professional growth.
- Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
- May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university required, with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience. Knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft office/teams and Asana preferable. General knowledge of Texas Administrative Code/Minimum Standards for both Child Placing Agencies and General Residential Operations preferrable. Requires a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional who can lead initiatives, support team growth, and ensure continuous quality improvement within the Provider Network.
