Position Duties

As a Staff Auditor, you approach every challenge with integrity, precision, and curiosity—analyzing complex information, recognizing patterns, and applying sound judgment with meticulous attention to detail. You communicate with clarity, collaborate effortlessly across teams, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Your drive for continuous learning keeps you ahead of evolving regulations and industry trends, while your resilience ensures you remain focused under pressure. Guided by a strong ethical foundation and a problem-solving mindset, you build trust and deliver exceptional results in all you do.

What you will do:

  • Execute audits with accuracy and rigor, ensuring adherence to policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform data analysis and control evaluations, documenting results thoroughly and maintaining high-quality standards in all reports.
  • Communicate progress and issues promptly while fostering strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Stay informed on evolving regulations and industry practices, applying a proactive approach to audits, investigations, and compliance activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; Active or in-progress professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA) preferred.

  • 1–3 years of experience in public accounting, government, or transportation preferred.

  • Strong foundation in audit methodology, US GAAP, accounting cycle, and internal controls; basic understanding of business processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with audit/data analytics tools; excellent communication and time-management skills.
