Creative Dining is hiring immediately for a full-time Night Auditor. 

Location: Prince Conference Center at 1800 E Beltline Ave Grand Rapids, MI 49546
Schedule: Full time schedule, ~30 hours per week.
Requirement: 1-2 years of customer service or front desk experience required.
Pay Range: $16 - $18

Job Summary 

The Night Auditor ensures a smooth overnight guest experience by managing late check-ins, responding to guest needs, and reconciling daily financial transactions. This role combines customer service with accounting responsibilities to support seamless hotel operations. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities 

Guest Service: Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, reservations, and overnight inquiries in a warm and professional manner. 

Account Reconciliation: Reconcile daily financial transactions, verify reports, and balance accounts to ensure accuracy. 

Issue Resolution: Respond promptly to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies during overnight hours. 

Reservations & Scheduling: Handle phone inquiries, schedule wake-up calls, and take future reservations. 

Nightly Audits: Verify that all end-of-day work is completed by other departments and ensure all systems are properly closed out. 

Communication: Provide clear hand-off notes and reports to morning staff and management. 

Problem-Solving: Handle unexpected issues with professionalism and resourcefulness. 

Phone & Front Desk Operations: Answer calls, place reservations, and operate standard hotel systems and technology.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

• 2+ years' experience in customer service or hospitality (bookkeeping or accounting experience a plus)
• Strong communication, math, and multitasking skills
• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure
• Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new systems
• Exceptional customer service skills and a team-player attitude
