Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the Construction and Agriculture Technical Communicator and Instructor personnel
- Provide leadership, mentoring, direction, motivation and supervision of direct reports
- Develop, set, and measure training and support metrics that satisfy the needs of the business
- Promote, expand, and develop technical training and support services to guarantee customer satisfaction and generate revenue
- Maintain and develop training curriculum and technical content for Ziegler Technical Training
- Develop and maintain annual training strategy for Technical, Safety, Parts and Service, New Production Introduction, and Dealer Excellence needs
- Develop and maintain a strong corporate learning management system
- Assist with new product introduction and integration into Ziegler’s product portfolio
- Improve and/or redesign business processes that improve customer satisfaction, increase revenue, reduce expenses, and/or increase productivity
- Work cooperatively with other departments to execute marketing, accounting, warranty, parts, and administrative strategies for the technical support team
- Promote new and innovative solutions to improve current workflow processes
- Manage training of internal and external customers on technical aspects of Ziegler’s product lines
- Follow up with customers regarding customer satisfaction on training received
- Support the resolution of escalated customer concerns in a timely manner
- Oversee and develop/redesign product problem management strategies with various OEMs
- Communicate with OEMs on product failures, training needs/strategy, and customer requests and concerns
- Consult on goodwill negotiations with internal personnel, customers and OEMs
- Support and manage related elements of CAT Excellence Programs
- Provide leadership for call center operations for parts, service, rental, technical, and after hours services
- Support management of Tech Wars programs – CAT – Dealer – AGCO
- Appraise performance, take corrective action and oversee training and development of staff
- Manage department budget
- Generate comprehensive capital asset and tooling requests as needed
- Complete other initiatives and projects as needed by the leadership team
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of related experience required
- 3+ years of management experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work collaboratively with all others
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Personal Attributes: Leadership, Customer Focus, Planning, Organization, Teamwork
Travel:
- Up to 25% travel

The pay range for this position is
$107,500.00 to $134,400.00Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
