The Community Medicine MD Track (CMT) is a new regional clinical campus of the College of Medicine that operates out of Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.  Medical students complete their first two years of medical school in Columbus before relocating to Lima for the last two years of their education.  The mission of the CMT is to prepare physicians to practice in smaller cities and rural communities with the goal of improving health and well-being in Ohio and beyond.

The Community Medicine MD Track’s Community Outreach Analyst 4 (working title IPE and Assessment Strategic Program Director) oversees interprofessional education and assessment activities for the CMT curriculum.  This person collaborates with administrators, health care providers, and faculty and staff at the College of Medicine and partnering colleges and universities to develop and provide high-level interprofessional curriculum.  Additionally, this person oversees assessment for coursework in the Community Medicine Track.   They serve as a member of a team of professionals providing services and support to Community Medicine MD Track students. 

Minimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Advanced degree highly desirable.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

6 years of relevant experience in healthcare and/or in education required. 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.  Requires successful completion of a background check.  Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

Additional Desired Qualifications -  

Experience teaching adult learners is highly desired, especially at the college or university level.  Strong preference for candidates that are licensed healthcare professionals.  Selected candidate must have a driver’s license and reliable transportation.
