Who You Are:
We are seeking a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as a Conceirge. This person will have a genuine interest in working with older adults and be able to engage, motivate, and support both residents and fellow team members. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and aligned with our values of respect, excellence, and community. Essential Functions:1. Assures medication and transportation keys are locked up. Assists in maintaining resident information. Typing as assigned. Sorts and distributes mail.
2. Responsible for relaying any pertinent information to the evening/weekend Concierge or Executive Assistant. Monitors the weather radio and informs management of any weather information that would affect the community.
3. Updates the in house television channel.
4. Ability to properly answer and handle phone incoming calls to the Community made by services/devices used for the deaf or hard of hearing customers.
5. Maintain work area and keep the department in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
6. Effectively communicates both verbally and in writing.
7. Demonstrates the community hospitality promises towards residents, families, associates and vendors.
8. Assists other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and follow written and verbal directions.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Must be able to work well and maintain a pleasant manner under pressure or with a high degree of interruption.
- Ability to type, file, and handle a multi-line telephone is essential. Knowledge of Microsoft Work is desirable.
