Purpose of this Role | |||
The Development Manager for Impact Initiatives is a frontline fundraiser responsible for generating philanthropic revenue (major gifts, annual leadership giving, corporate, foundation, and public/philanthropic collaborations) to support UWCW’s strategic impact initiatives. This role manages a portfolio of donors and prospects, develops tailored cultivation and stewardship strategies, supports cross-functional funding opportunities, and helps translate UWCW’s community impact work into compelling donor-facing cases for support. Additionally, this role may be asked to periodically represent UWCW at various events or community gatherings. The Development Manager is an active member of the Resource Development (RD) team and collaborates closely with Community Impact, Corporate Relations, Marketing/Communications, Finance/Grants, and Volunteer Engagement. At the direction of the Senior Director of Resource Development and/or the CEO, this role may also represent UWCW at pertinent committees, public briefings, cross-sector workgroups, or coalition gatherings. |
