Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

FT position available, facilities operations are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM – 5:30PM, staggered shifts to meet unit needs.

Provide comprehensive perioperative care to surgical patients, functioning effectively in both scrub and circulating roles. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. One year of operating room experience is preferred, and CNOR or CNAMB certification is a plus.
