SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with deep expertise in managing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory (on-prem and Azure AD), Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and Office 365), and enterprise Print Services. This role will be responsible for maintaining identity and access management, ensuring secure and reliable messaging systems, and managing enterprise print infrastructure across a multi-location environment. You will work closely with our IT Operations, Security, and Application teams to ensure system availability, security, scalability, and seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Active Directory & Azure AD
- Design, implement, and manage Active Directory services, including domains, forests, trusts, GPOs, and OU
structures. - Administer Azure Active Directory for hybrid identity management, including synchronization using Azure
AD Connect. - Configure and maintain Conditional Access Policies, SSO integrations, and MFA enforcement.
- Perform regular AD health checks, replication monitoring, and security hardening.
Microsoft Exchange & Office 365
- Manage and maintain on-premises Exchange servers and Exchange Online environments.
- Plan and execute migrations between Exchange on-prem and Office 365.
- Troubleshoot complex mail flow, transport rules, and mailbox provisioning issues.
- Monitor and optimize performance, backups, and disaster recovery for mail systems.
- Collaborate with Security to configure email security policies (DKIM, SPF, DMARC).
Print Services
- Manage enterprise print infrastructure, including print servers, drivers, queues, and device policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve print-related incidents across multiple office locations.
- Maintain printer access control, quotas, and integration with Active Directory.
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware lifecycle management and firmware updates.
General Infrastructure & Operations
- Implement automation where possible using PowerShell, Intune, or other scripting tools.
- Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to ensure compliance with security frameworks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Networking Knowledge
- Solid understanding of core networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall rules.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN (Cisco Meraki), cloud firewalls (Fortinet virtual appliances in Azure), and secure
web gateways (Zscaler). - Ability to collaborate with network/security teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues affecting AD
replication, Exchange mail flow, and print services
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Active Directory and Azure AD administration.
- Strong expertise in Exchange Server (2016/2019) and Exchange Online administration.
- Proven experience with Office 365, including licensing, mailbox management, and hybrid configurations.
- Experience managing enterprise print services and troubleshooting driver, queue, and network print issues.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
- Solid understanding of identity governance, SSO, MFA, and conditional access policies.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and integration with SIEM/MDR solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications such as:
• MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator
• SC-300: Identity and Access Administrator
• AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate - Experience with Intune, Endpoint Manager, and Group Policy management.
- Familiarity with Zscaler, Okta, or other SSO/SASE solutions.
- Exposure to enterprise networking, DNS, DHCP, and load balancing concepts.
