We are seeking a Channel Manager focused on Mobility in the North American Market to join our team for this hybrid opportunity working out of our Waltham, MA office.
Job Summary
Reporting to the SVP of Channel Growth, the Channel Manager will manage and drive Imprivata’s channel partners that focus on mobility solutions as an individual contributor to ensure the achievement of the region’s targets. The role involves working closely with the Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and existing channel partners assigned, but also recruiting new partners to make sure that the region's channel is “fit for purpose” and can capitalize on new business opportunities. This role is responsible for ensuring the channel is fully equipped to sell Imprivata’s mobility products, and this includes delivering sales training to the channel and ensuring that they are fully technically trained. Extensive travel is expected, with 25-50% of the time spent in front of partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with the SVP of Channel Growth and the Regional Sales Managers to develop business via his/her channel across the N.A markets and ensure that all targets are achieved
Manage the existing partners and in the future, look to further develop the channel to market
Promote the company positively and inspire the channel to commit to Imprivata as the preferred mobility and or Identity and Access Management solution within healthcare, manufacturing, and state and local markets.
Maximize sales and revenue for Imprivata as part of the N.A sales team
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in full
Other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications
6+ years’ experience in the IT industry
4+ years’ experience selling via the channel
Experience developing channel partners, and will be used to develop partnerships around the opportunity each market presents.
Ideal candidate will have sold security solutions within the region and will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Imprivata value proposition and enable partners to do the same.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage at the board level
High understanding of key business metrics within the channel and the effects these have on a vendor’s performance
Strong understanding of mobility solutions and the mobility partner ecosystem.
Possess enthusiasm, initiative, judgment, and a positive outlook
Team-oriented

Strong negotiating skills and problem analysis
Large capacity to multitask
Self-motivated
This position offers a salary range of $235,071.00 to $249,395.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
