Position Overview

Properstar is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Independent Contractor for the role of Regional Sales Lead – Asia.

 

This role is focused on business development, promoting Properstar’s real estate advertising services, and driving new client acquisition and team success. The ideal candidate has experience in sales, real estate, or digital marketing and is eager to leverage their network to grow their team’s revenue.

 

This is a sales leadership role, and the candidate will be responsible for overseeing sales growth in their region, providing training, direction, and support to a team grouped into Squads.

 

In addition to business development responsibilities, the Regional Sales Lead will be responsible for reporting on sales activity and performance, conducting regular 1:1 meetings with team members, and participating in weekly 1:1 calls with their Reporting Manager. The candidate must be able to critically analyze performance metrics, identify trends and challenges, and develop actionable strategies and coaching plans for their team to improve results.

 

The Regional Sales Lead will also participate in Sales Operations and Management calls, bringing insight from their team’s activities on the ground and collaborating on strategies to improve regional and global performance.

 

The ideal candidate will also have experience in sales revenue forecasting and budgeting, and be comfortable working with leadership to project sales targets, track progress toward goals, and develop realistic business plans for their region.

 

Core Responsibilities



  1. Work with your manager to build partnerships that bring in new listings and sales opportunities with agents and offices.
  2. Achieve your annual sales target for your region as presented in Properstar’s annual sales forecast.
  3. Hire, coach, and guide your sales team within their assigned squads.
  4. Increase monthly recurring revenue in your region through your team’s sales efforts.



Additional Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to help your team identify, engage, and onboard new real estate professionals, including agents, brokers, and developers, to Properstar’s advertising services.
  • Present and promote Properstar’s suite of real estate marketing solutions to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage long-term engagement and upselling opportunities.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with team members to review performance, provide support, and align on goals.
  • Monitor team performance, analyze key sales metrics, and develop targeted action plans to support individual and regional growth.
  • Report weekly sales progress, deal statuses, and key activities to your Reporting Manager in scheduled 1:1s.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership to develop sales forecasts, budgets, and quarterly plans for your region.
  • Utilize Properstar’s approved systems and tools to document sales activities, track prospects, and manage client interactions.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with Properstar’s internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.

 

Compensation Structure

  • The Independent Contractor will charge Properstar on a cost-per-hour or cost-per-day basis at a rate that is competitive to the local market average and is agreed between the Parties.
  • There is a commission element to this role. The Regional Sales Lead will receive a bonus on both sales they conduct themselves in their region and a bonus on team performance in their region.

 

Bonuses for both personally conducted sales and the sales completed by the regional teams will be paid out to the Regional Sales Lead one month after the sales were registered. Payment of bonuses shall only be due if the Client has paid for their subscription. 

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, real estate, or digital advertising would be an asset
  • 2–5 years of experience in a sales leadership or team oversight role is required.
  • Experience in sales revenue forecasting and budgeting is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate performance insights and motivate others.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and translate findings into actionable plans.
  • Self-motivated and able to independently manage sales execution and leadership duties.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot) and digital marketing platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to build and maintain a professional network within the real estate industry.

  • This is an independent contractor position, not an employee role.
  • Contractors have autonomy in managing their business development activities.
  • Properstar provides marketing materials, sales support, and access to proprietary tools to support client engagement.
