ABOUT THE JOB

Our Enterprise Growth Representative (EGR) will support the Head of Growth in leading our business development initiatives in South Africa and the rest of Africa. Their combined primary focus is to expand our presence and drive revenue growth.


Together they will identify key markets and industries with the most opportunity for growth and own the go-to-market strategy and strategic development of our industry indices.


They will add value to our Product and broader Business Development team by collaborating with them to define budgets, scope and timelines for the delivery of projects and assess any potential risks or obstacles as well as prioritising project requirements and stages.


Some of our indices are done in partnership with consulting houses and this role will require managing those relationships and collaborations for successful duel outputs and traction in the market.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY

Revenue Growth

Meet or exceed revenue targets by effectively managing inbound leads and identifying key opportunities for proposals and growth.

  • Develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts, providing transparency and supporting financial growth.
  • Identify opportunities to create persuasive cost estimates and proposals to secure new business, collaborating with finance to address overdue payments, with the guidance of your line manager.

Managing HubSpot

Take ownership of HubSpot by corresponding with and qualifying all leads.

  • The EGR will be responsible for tracking and reporting on all new business initiatives through HubSpot.
  • Working closely with Heads of Marketing and Heads of Product Marketing to develop lead generation activities and report on the progress of and success of each initiative.
  • Tracking every proposal as a deal in HubSpot and supporting finance with revenue reporting and forecasting.
  • Support the Client Service team by ensuring all current client contacts and leads are allocated to the correct Account Manager for timeous follow up.

Managing Our Indices

Support the Head of Growth in the overall development of each index. This will include everything from research scoping, costing, handling quotes if partners are involved, data checks, report QA, and setting up client presentations ahead of public release.

  • Through each index roadshow the EGR will be responsible for researching attendees ahead of each presentation, supporting the presentation team with preparation for each presentation, and taking notes during each presentation on key areas of interest and questions for potential follow ups and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a robust contact list for all potential clients and brands represented in our indices, including identifying key decision-makers to expand business opportunities.
  • Support our Client Service Team in setting up presentations of indices with existing clients.
  • Post each presentation, support the Head of Growth in follow up emails, setting up further engagements, and preparing and sending proposals.
  • Track all leads and proposals from each index as deals in HubSpot

Client Engagement & Experience

Act as the primary point of contact for all new business clients, ensuring exceptional service, prompt query resolution, and smooth account operations.

  • Managing the initiation of contracts or Proof of Concept (POC) periods. This will include overall project management of the account from overseeing account setups, handing data checks, QAing reports, delivery of and presentation of reports and all change management required throughout the time they are under your care.
  • This will also include collaborating with all internal teams to ensure the successful start of a contract or POC to secure MRR contracts.
  • Consult with clients to identify opportunities for enhancing their customer experience through data utilisation, ultimately identifying and driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Help clients get as much value as possible out of our data, whether through building dashboards, talking the clients through insights, or training the clients on Analyse and Engage.
  • Once longer term deals are secured, the EGR will manage the handover of accounts to the Client Service team for continued support and management.

Data Utilisation and Dashboard Management

Become a super user of our tool set to be able to support clients and run demos

  • Uncover key issues in client organisations that our data can be used to solve.
  • Ensure that our data is pushed into varying teams within each client organisation and is used by a multitude of users and budget holders.
  • Proactively manage, build, check, QA, and maintain client dashboards.
  • Brief the analyst team, review and deliver reports to clients.

Internal Stakeholder Management and Administration

  • Ensure the smooth running of your clients’ Analyse and Engage accounts.
  • Effectively manage your time and prioritise tasks based on their impact on client deliveries, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all client interactions to maintain precision and organisation, minimising errors.
  • Constantly learn, upskill, and improve knowledge and skill set.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Basic requirements

  • A tertiary qualification
  • 5+ years experience in a senior enterprise / B2B business development role
  • Proficient in HubSpot CRM, sequences, lead generation activities and reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is essential, as well as Google slides and sheets, and you'd need to be comfortable learning and navigating new web-based software applications
  • Able to travel within South Africa and Africa


Desired

  • 2+ years people management experience
  • Experience in Account Management or client service
