Homeoffice Senior Front-End Engineer

As part of our lean, mean team, you’ll jump into building Emy’s world—crafting smooth, fun, and whimsical features that make users feel connected and entertained. We’re a small team, so no red tape or micromanagement here. You’ll thrive in an environment that values independence, agility, and collaboration.

You’ll be responsible for making sure everything runs smoothly by publishing code that follows best practices on the mobile app stores and you’ll be on top of delivering early and often. In addition to this, your own product ideas will be critical in helping the Product Lead define the roadmap.

Responsibilities include:

• Ship fast and often—managing iOS and Android deliveries to keep Emy fresh and engaging for our players.
• Deliver high quality code in-line with the product roadmap
• Bring forward product ideas and challenges
• Make key forward-thinking technical decisions

Tech Stack:

• React Native
• TypeScript
• Expo
• Firebase
• GitHub actions

What we’re looking for:

• 4-5 years+ experience in a mobile consumer apps
• Experience in an early stage startup (team<30)
• High proficiency in React Native, TypeScript&Expo
• Experience with animations in React Native a bonus
• Experience in mobile games is not essential, but a huge bonus
• High proficiency in React Native, TypeScript&Expo.
• Experience using services of at least one major cloud provider.

Interview Process

• Initial Call: Informal 15-30 minute chat with Sachin, the CEO, to get to know one another and cover key information.
• Technical Call: 45-60 minute interview with an engineer to learn about your expertise in our tech stack.
• Final Call: In some cases we have a final quick call to cover any missing pieces before deciding on an offer.
