In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Lead the effective execution of OEM projects from inception through to successful delivery, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate the negotiation of contracts with account managers and customers, actively driving OEM strategic initiatives to bolster sales and enhance market position.
  • Foster strategic partnerships to expedite business growth, leveraging these relationships to secure a competitive edge in the market.
  • Recognize opportunities for innovation and develop strategies to move plans into action.
  • Craft solutions and experiences centered around the customer, aiming to significantly elevate the perceived and actual value of the business.
  • Identify and leverage readily achievable opportunities ("low hanging fruit") to stimulate and sustain growth within the organization.
  • Commit to the continuous enhancement of processes by establishing new standards of work, driving efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or similar Technical Field or equivalent experience demonstrated by a minimum of 4 years direct engineering design or product / project management.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a related industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • An analytical mind that quickly recognizes development opportunities, market volume, revenue potential, and optimal time-to-market.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from concept to completion, effectively managing resources, timelines, and budgets.
  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts with key stakeholders and driving strategic initiatives that result in significant sales growth.
  • A strong technical background relevant to OEM operations, coupled with the ability to analyze technical requirements and contribute to the development of Statements of Work.
