A dynamic Junior Research and Marketing Associate is sought to join an expanding MedTech Start-Up in Switzerland.

This role will offer the opportunity to engage in a wide range of tasks, from conducting literature searches and competitive analyses to assisting with social media content creation and website updates.

The ideal candidate will possess a curious and innovative mindset, with a keen interest in both scientific research and marketing strategies.

The successful candidate can work remotely/on a hybrid basis but must be based in Switzerland with full right to work in that location. The role will suit either a recent graduate with work experience or someone in the early stages of their marketing career.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct literature searches and summarize findings from scientific papers relevant to neuromodulation, chronic pain management, and related fields
  • Perform competitive analyses to identify market trends, competitor strategies, and intellectual property (IP) landscapes
  • Develop social media content and strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness and engagement
  • Assist in the creation and design of compelling slide decks for presentations, ensuring visual consistency and effectiveness
  • Take ownership of website updates, including content creation, optimization for search engines, and maintenance of an engaging user experience
  • Support other ad hoc marketing and research projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Utilize programming or coding skills to assist with product development initiatives or propose innovative ideas for product improvement

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as biology, neuroscience, marketing, or computer science
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to critically evaluate scientific literature and synthesize key findings
  • Proficiency in conducting internet searches and analyzing data to gather insights into market trends and competitor activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a talent for crafting engaging content and presentations.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and strategies for maximizing audience engagement
  • Proficiency in slide design software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) and graphic design principles
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Basic programming or coding skills (e.g., Python, R) and a demonstrated aptitude for product development or innovation would be desirable
