We are seeking a Customer Reference Coordinator at 8x8 to play a pivotal role in showcasing the success of our strategic customers. You will be responsible for recruiting, managing, and leveraging high-touch reference relationships to drive business growth and foster long-term customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Recruit and manage high-touch reference relationships for strategic customers.
  • Create and maintain in-depth customer profiles and contacts.
  • Manage reference request fulfillment and track reference activity and outcomes.
  • Drive opportunities for promotion and broad-based leverage of customer success assets.
  • Increase program adoption and visibility.
  • Produce monthly/quarterly reporting and regular communications to stakeholders.
  • Report outcome metrics for strategic customer engagement.
  • Foster and promote long-term, mutually beneficial customer relationships.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the value of the program to a variety of internal and external stakeholder audiences.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer success, customer advocacy, or related roles.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing and executing customer engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.

Salary Ranges

$48,375.00 - $80,625.00
