This position will be partially based in the following office location:

Manchester, NH

For hybrid roles, employees must be able to commute to Manchester, NH on a regular basis.

The opportunity

SNHU is looking for a motivated, reliable, creative individual, with an interest in content creation. As a content marketing assistant, you will be collaborating within a holistic organic marketing group. You will work closely with SNHU's Newsroom team to assist on various writing and multi-media tasks and project coordination.

This project-based position is ideal for a marketing, advertising, or communication college student. This role requires the selected candidate to work remotely, choosing their own schedule in compliance with weekly project benchmarks and deadlines. There may be opportunities for the Content Marketing Assistant to work occasionally on-premises at SNHU's Manchester, New Hampshire, Millyard location. Primary duties will be geared toward what is needed by the team and by what the worker has a desire to learn.

What You'll Do

  • Write articles for the SNHU Newsroom that follow university's voice, tone and brand guidelines.
  • Reoptimize existing articles using current data, sources and best practices.
  • Learn about search engine optimization (SEO) and apply your growing knowledge to new and existing content.
  • Assist the Newsroom team with various other multi-media projects.


What We Are Looking For

  • Education: High School Diploma/equivalent
  • Enrollment in a writing, marketing, communication, or related degree program
  • Interest and/or experience in writing for marketing
  • Proficient in English language
