Step Out Buffalo is looking for a dynamic and versatile Marketing Manager to join our team of Buffalovers! This individual will play a crucial role in executing marketing strategies and driving growth for our company. The ideal candidate is a marketing generalist who is well-versed in both B2B and B2C marketing strategy, with a passion for content creation and a hunger for ambitious execution.

ABOUT THE JOB


We’re looking for a driven self-starter who can build marketing strategies that catapult growth. The right person for the job is intensely passionate about marketing and storytelling, has an eye for design, and is proactive. This position requires a strong desire to bring ideas to the table as well as execute them.


REQUIREMENTS


  • 2-3 years marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related fields
  • Proven experience in marketing roles, preferably in media/advertising
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing strategies
  • Proficiency in content creation, including writing, graphic design, and social media content creation including video
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced writing and editing skills
  • Exceptional creative marketing skills
  • Proficient research skills
  • Strong analytical skills, i.e., the ability to analyze results to determine key findings
  • Must be highly detailed and pay special attention to delivering error-free work
  • Excellent time management, planning and organization and prioritization skills
  • Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop and implement B2B marketing strategies to drive advertiser customer acquisition and retention
  • Develop and implement B2C marketing strategies to drive reader/user acquisition and retention
  • Execute marketing tactics including social media management, email marketing, and content creation
  • Content Distribution
  • Build relationships with clients and potential clients
  • Build online community of readers and potential readers
  • Copywriting
  • Graphic Design as it pertains to marketing and content creation
  • Analyze and report on marketing data and metrics to optimize campaigns and drive results
  • Design and maintain efficient systems and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing strategy and initiatives
  • Cross-functional creative advisement
  • Marketing for SOB Hosted Events
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing efforts
  • Networking


COMPENSATION


  • Total Compensation Range: $50,000 – $65,000
  • Total Compensation Range includes base salary, bonuses and benefits. Compensation is based on several non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills, and location.
