Custody and Clearing - Securities Services

One of the world’s leading custodians providing custody, clearing and settlement, agency securities lending and fund services with multi-market excellence in more than 30 markets around the world. We provide smarter custody solutions that focus on clients’ specific post-trade goals and data that empower them to improve their efficiency and process.

As a Migration Manager you will be responsible for designing and delivering migration strategies that incorporate client-specific approaches driven by business and technical requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and validate migration strategies, taking into consideration client, business, and technical roadmaps, data migration approaches, training, and hand-over activities required to cutover and normalize operations activities.
  • Discuss the migration strategy and make it transparent across the involved teams / stakeholders and ensure constant communication / review to ensure that key users and stakeholders have accepted the defined Migration Strategy.
  • Manage and ensure overall migration activities during the deployment as a single point of contact for divisions and entities in a phased manner to meet the expectations / requirements of multiple client groups.
  • Responsible for delivering migrations within schedule, scope, and budget as designed in the migration strategies and ensuring timely stakeholder communication updating them on the progress of the migration activities.
  • Identify, document, and validate migration scope, risks, constraints, dependencies, and assumptions and proactively improve and adapt the migration strategy.


Your Skills And Experiences

  • Multiple years of hands-on experience in managing data migration, testing, production, and migration of large-scale finance-related software.
  • Experienced in managing and interfacing face-to-face with users and vendors/product groups/developers as well as technical skills.
  • Exposure to working in an Agile environment and hands-on experience in tools like JIRA.
  • Strong willingness to approach projects with a can-do attitude and persistence, comfortable in a fast-moving, fluid, international environment.
  • Excellent in communications and stakeholder management.
