The role will require understanding our existing calculation model, getting familiar with reports, and inbound and outbound data feeds, as well as understanding our selling systems as they dictate the type of data that goes into the ICM.This position requires strong technical/functional expertise and an eagerness to design, troubleshoot, and continually assess and enhance our product solutions. A strong desire for learning and an appetite for new technology within our technology ecosystem will make you successful in this position.Position Responsibilities
  • Design, build, maintain, and extend data models within the Varicent ICM platform.
  • Analyze requirements and plan system tables/components using structured analysis and data modeling.
  • Validate and provide input on potential changes in calculations and the
  • Work with Incentive Administration stakeholders to validate functional requirements that are viable for development.
  • Triage production issues, respond to data requests, and provide general support for Incentive Administration stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute testing for enhancements to the business application.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to share best practices and improve processes.
  • Understand incentive compensation plan rules and formulas.
  • Support in writing user stories, testing, and communication regarding production releases.
  • Research and address inquiries received by end users, related to payout, crediting, eligibility, or attainment.
  • Participate and provide input on system release management, version control, deployment management, and systems integration.
  • Plan and execute documentation for calculations and change management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EducationEducation:
  • Four (4) year degree, advanced degree required.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with Compensation Software configuration, plan builds, reporting, and workflows.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working with Varicent Tool v9 and above.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with building import (intra-model & query function) processes, workflow processes, calculation logic, and reports (structured & presenter adaptive).
  • Minimum 1+ years of SQL hands-on experience.
  • Minimum 1+ years in the ability to dissect and fix complex issues in existing code and configurations.
  • Deep analytical skills to evaluate and enhance system performance.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Business Support.
Preferred Experience
  • Varicent v10 Technical Specialist Certification.
  • Experience using API with the Varicent cloud tool.
  • Previous experience with variable compensation programs and systems.
  • Experience in Data Visualization solutions like Power BI and Tableau.
  • Experience with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
