K2United’s Product Development team is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead and inspire our talented group of developers. In this role, you will oversee the creation of our core online training systems, empowering individuals with the knowledge they need to succeed in their work environments. You will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability, driving solutions that address real-world challenges and enhance client outcomes.

Requirements

About You:

You are a seasoned software engineer and manager with a passion for coaching and mentoring others. You embody our core values, are humbly confident, and understand the importance of the first team. Your qualifications include:

  • 5 - 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • Experience mentoring, coaching and evaluating the performance of other engineers
  • Familiarity with Agile and Sprint Planning techniques
  • Hands-on coder, with the ability to write clear, concise, coherent code

Your Impact:

As a Software Engineering Manager, you manage project goals, contribute to product strategy, and foster the growth and development of your team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide clarity, support, the organization of resources, and positive influence — with regular reflection — to make accountability achievable.
  • Devise plans to meet business objectives, enforce code quality and consistency, and manage escalations
  • Provide a technical vision and mentoring that up-levels the engineering team.
  • Coordinate releases, demos, and training.
  • Propose technical solutions that solve business problems, communicate and mitigate risks, and own the technical documentation
