Remote Operations/Seafreight Manager (Remote)

Join our client as their next Operations Manager heading up a team who focuses on seafreight exports. This is an exciting role to work for a direct shipper. Our client is a Canadian based company who offers remote working opportunities in South Africa.

Their operations are expanding rapidly and they require a hands-on Operations manager to manage their growing team of 2 Controllers who focus on seafreight exports.

This role operates within the SAST time zone with working hours being 08:00 - 17:00.

This role is a fully remote role. The team does do monthly breakfast meet-ups in Cape Town.

Requirements

• Matric/equivalent.
• Proficiency in using G Suite (Google Mail and Sheets).
• Minimum 10 years experience in clearing and forwarding.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a management role within clearing and forwarding (with seafreight exports knowledge).
