One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Test Automation Specialist.

For this role you can work remotely.

Candidates must be EU citizens and be able to understand, speak and write French (B1/B2) in addition to fluent English;

Role Description

General

• Definition of test plans and test cases.
• Construction of test scenarios and scripts.
• Execution of tests.
• Preparation and maintenance of test data.
• Test reporting.
• Automated testing
• Enable the transition to an automated approach.
• Evaluate tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the customer.
• DevSecOps approach.
• Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture.
• Design, prepare and monitor automated tests.
• Design and develop (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet the business needs.
• Create automated test reporting and metrics collection.
• Support business stakeholders during acceptance testing.
  
  

Knowledge And Skills

Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

Experience in manual testing.

Experience in testing automation

Experience in test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases.

Good knowledge of testing technologies, tools, frameworks and techniques, in particular that can be used in cloud environments.

Knowledge of data-driven solutions testing (data warehouse, data lakes, data mining, etc.) Knowledge of a Test Management Tool.

Knowledge of a Defect Tracking tool, in particular JIRA.

Knowledge of relational database management systems such as MS SQL, Oracle.

Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Spark, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies would be an asset Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Good Redaction Skills, Experience In Preparation Of Written Reports.

Capability of integration in an international/multi- cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.

Analysis and problem solving skills.

Capability to write clear and structured documents.

Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:

Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team; Ability to participate in multilingual meetings; Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects; Excellent Team Player Ability to understand, speak and write French (B1/B2) in addition to fluent English; High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained in this DG contain personal and confidential data

Specific Experience

Experience (at least 3 years) with test automation technologies, tools and techniques.

Experience (at least 3 years) in working in Agile/Sprint based IT project methodologies.

Experience (at least 1 year) in working with public cloud technologies Knowledge of a tool for web application testing tool, like Selenium or Protractor Knowledge of a Test Management Tool, like Zephir for JIRA Knowledge of a Defect Tracking tool, like Zephir for JIRA Knowledge of an API testing tool, like SOAPUI

Certifications

The following certificates & standards could compensate for missing years of education or professional experience, but limited to 3 points:

ISTQB Specialist Level Test Automation Engineer ISTQB Specialist Level Test Acceptance Testing ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst Any equivalent certification to be approved by the requesting unit
