Remote Portfolio Management - Postgraduate Working Student/ Intern (d/f/m)

As part of our dedicated Portfolio Management Team at New Ventures, you will have the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience and apply your financial knowledge in a global environment. Your tasks:

• Assisting with financial analysis, including data collection, modelling and forecasting
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports, statements, documents and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Conducting research on market trends, financial and industry analyses, and valuation of potential acquisition targets
• Working closely with the founding team to support investor relations, manage investor data, and facilitate due diligence processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on financial projects and initiatives
• Demonstrating entrepreneurship in strategy discussions, supporting the founders on fundraising topics and leading high-priority projects across multiple workstreams

Your profile:

• Completed bachelor's degree and pursuing master's degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field
• Strong background in finance, business planning, deal flow analysis, and valuation techniques as well as proficiency in capital formation strategies, financial modelling, and risk assessment
• Experience working and/or studying abroad for more than six months
• Familiarity with financial analysis tools and software as well as strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of financial principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven mindset, attention to detail and excellent presentation abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with professional English skills, in writing and speech (additional languages are a plus)
• Your residence is in Germany and you have a German work permit
