- Achieve area sales targets
- Ensure cost effectiveness coverage of the markets
- Control inventory and outstanding / receivables and take appropriate corrective actions
- Control overall expense budgets for various heads
- Manage settlement of expiry & breakage as per the organizational norm
- Assist Sales Manager and or Marketing in preparing accurate 12 months rolling sales forecast
- Implement product strategies and promotional plans and including introductions of new products
- Implement diseases management and other customer support programs with guidance from Product Management team
- Guide and control Medical Reps in promoting products as per such treatment maps
- Assign sales targets for each territory with guidance from Sales Manager or Business Unit Head
- Ensure collection of complete data on target doctors, maintenance of call records and updating database
- Review sales and financial performance of distributors and take corrective steps as and when necessary
- Monitor competitors’ activities
- Set up sales territories, deploy Med Reps. / Field Executive and assign sales targets
- Monitor and appraise performance of field staff in the team
- Create an open and enabling work climate
- Assess field staff’s detailing and selling skills
- Train field staff in organizing lecture programs and customer support programs, prescription monitoring, chemist audits and any new initiative
- Identify and develop field staff for higher responsibilities in the organization
- Carry out performance & development discussion on a regular basis
- Organize lecture programs, patient education / support programs, seminar / film shows and any other HCP event
- Maintain appropriate relation with Health authorities / payors /providers
- Maintain cordial relations with Medical – Chemists Associations and Drug Control authorities
- Maintain good industrial relations with Reps union etc.
Job Requirements
- Min 5 years Sales management experience
- Exposure to Pharmaceutical/ Healthcare industry
- Fluent in Bahasa and English language
- Ability to translate numeric analysis into sales strategies that can be implemented
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player
- Strong leadership skills (experienced in leading teams and/or cross-functional teams)
- Ability to work with / drive Business Part to deliver business expectations
