Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Training Systems Developer I-III remotely reporting to our Greenville, NC location.
What You Will Do
- Manage and maintain training systems, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Sales Enablement platforms, ensuring they are fully functional and meet user needs.
- Implement and organize learning paths, e-modules, and catalog structures, ensuring consistent branding and user experience.
- Design and deliver effective learning journeys by collaborating with key stakeholders, applying best practices suitable for global and regional audiences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration, e-modules, and content accessibility, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Support and train developers in publishing and troubleshooting, particularly in SCORM and Articulate 360 environments.
- Generate and analyze data to create interactive reports that drive insights and improvements in learning systems.
- Develop and maintain user procedures, guidelines, and documentation, leading efforts to update and enforce these across the organization.
- Collaborative: You work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to create and implement effective training solutions.

Level I
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
- In lieu of a degree: 7+ years of relevant experience in Learning & Development or Business Administration, including a minimum of 3 years in LMS Administration
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
- Alternative: Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
- In lieu of a degree: 7+ years of relevant experience in Learning & Development or Business Administration, including a minimum of 3 years in LMS Administration
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
- Alternative: 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
- In lieu of a degree: 9+ years of relevant experience in Learning & Development or Business Administration, including a minimum of 3 years in LMS Administration
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with stakeholders.
- Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to address complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- High proficiency in LMS systems and tools such as Articulate Studio, Captivate, Storyline, Adobe Flash, HTML5, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong project management abilities, including planning, time management, and change management, with the capability to lead projects and teams without direct authority.
- Ability to work successfully in ambiguous situations, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in adjusting to changing needs and technologies.
- Experience in guiding and supporting teams, particularly in the development and implementation of training systems, with a focus on driving best practices and continuous improvement.
