The role is opened remotely (work from home) for South East England, with 50% travel rate, mostly to Greater London area and once a Quarter to our office in Slough for management meetings.
Responsibilities
- Consult and advise customers for Power Quality PQ services, with particular focus on Service Contracts and Life Cycle Replacements (Caps, Fans and Batteries)
- Assist the Service Sales Manager to lead the sales team in the development and deployment of the services strategy that supports growth & innovation
- Ensure adherence to Eaton’s life-saving rules and latest health and safety standards
- Grow the service business via new and existing customers
- Manage all aspects of the relationship with the customers with regards to the services business
- Attend customer review meetings with your larger accounts. Provide a rolling 5 year Life Cycle plan for customer's assets.
- Work closely with the Authorized Service Partners ASPs to achieve our service offerings
- Produce specific service quotations for new inquiries
- Provide feedback on customers visits about opportunities and agreements
- Be aware of and responsive to market conditions and competitor activities
- Carry out site surveys and customer visits. Attends meetings with existing and potential clients
- Produce and maintain accurate data on customer contacts, activities and performance and reporting
- Follow Eaton Service Sales procedures to generate quotations and process orders
- Identify opportunities for market and sales growth
- Communicate day-to-day activities with service Sales Manager and provide monthly reports
- Update Eaton's CRM system with accurate and timely information on the status of all opportunities and quotations
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferred, but not essential
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ of experience in Power Quality services or Electrical Engineering
- Solid knowledge on sales and negotiation techniques
- Knowledge and understanding of Uninterruptible Power Supplies/UPSs and Data Centres
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are required, both written and verbal
- Skilled with Microsoft office products and CRM systems
- Able to work logically through issues with an eye for detail are essential
- Ready to travel 50% of the working time
