His/her Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading the introduction of new technologies through internal developments or external partnerships. More specifically:
- Identifying emerging technologies and trends in livestock farming automation.
- Proposing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency, animal welfare, and sustainability, taking into account impacts on internal R&D resources and time to market.
- Coordinating and running pilots and proofs of concept.
- Harmonizing these new activities within the product strategy and roadmap.
- Evaluating and testing new products and technologies, ensuring they meet industry standards and company requirements.

- Facilitating the new product launches in coordination with the product owners.
- Conducting field trials and on-site evaluations to assess the effectiveness of new solutions according to specific KPIs (ease of installation, usability, performance improvements etc.)
- Making sure that proper system-level documentation is available
- Providing initial training and support to beta testers and internal staff
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Animal Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in livestock farming, with a focus on automation and technology integration.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and implement complex systems.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and product development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel as required for field trials, partner meetings, and industry events (approx. 30%, mainly in the US but occasionally abroad)
- Experience working with emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and robotics in an agricultural context.
- Knowledge of animal welfare standards and sustainable farming practices.
- Previous experience with global multi-national companies
