Join an Early-Stage Tech Startup as a Content Marketing Specialist! We're working with a fully remote tech startup, founded in Amsterdam, to find a creative and strategic Content Marketing Specialist. This startup is in an exciting growth phase, with a small, dedicated team of about 10 colleagues, and plans to double in size soon.
After five years of refining their product, they’re now scaling a two-sided marketplace in the travel & hospitality industry. About the role
As a Content Marketing Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of crafting compelling content that enhances brand awareness, drives product virality, and boosts user engagement. You’ll create content for both the platform/website and various marketing channels, working closely with a small marketing team and collaborating with external consultants. Your content will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining users on both the B2B and B2C sides of the marketplace.
What you’ll do
- Content creation: Develop high-quality, engaging content for the platform, including blogs, articles, landing pages, and user guides. Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives.
- Content marketing: Plan and execute content marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and product visibility. Create content for email marketing, social media, and other digital channels.
- SEO optimization: Optimize content for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to the platform. Work with SEO tools and analytics to continuously refine your strategy.
- Collaborative projects: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute content strategies. Collaborate with external consultants on larger campaigns and specialized content needs.
- Content for engagement: Develop content that fosters community engagement and encourages interaction on the platform, such as user stories, testimonials, and case studies.
- Brand storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that communicate the startup’s mission, vision, and values, helping to build a strong and recognizable brand identity.
- Content performance: Monitor and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights. Adjust strategies based on data to maximize impact.
Who you are
- Experienced: 2-4 years of experience in content creation and content marketing, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Creative: Strong creative writing skills with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences and channels.
- Strategic: Understanding of content marketing best practices and how to leverage content to achieve broader marketing goals.
- SEO-savvy: Experience with SEO tools and techniques, with a proven ability to create content that ranks and drives traffic.
- Collaborative: Enjoys working closely with a small team and is comfortable collaborating with external consultants.
- Self-motivated: Thrives in a remote-first, fast-paced environment where you can take initiative and lead content projects.
