Summary

We are looking for the Inventory Coordinator to join our team. The role will be supporting processes in Europe, where operations may be running in different time zones to where the candidate is located. Because of this, some flexibility and occasional non-standard scheduled support will be necessary. The person would be directly reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, Europe.


What can you expect as an Inventory Coordinator at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?

As an Inventory Coordinator at STG, you will be responsible and accountable for the completion of administrative and reporting tasks in support of regional inventory control processes, with a critical focus on accuracy and timeliness. The candidate would also cover and manage critical tasks needed during any periods when their line manager or colleague(s) in the same function are out of the office or not readily available. You are flexible to have occasional travel <5% within the region, normally within the same day.

Your primary tasks will include the following:

  • Create weekly analysis of inventory reconciliation reports between our subcontracted 3PL service suppliers and our internal ERP systems
  • Create and maintain the inventory accuracy reporting on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Timely report and solve any issues affecting inventory accuracy, some of which require alignment with stakeholders in other functions before correcting
  • Monitor the creation and booking of Purchase Orders at our subcontracted warehouses
  • Support and report of yearly Physical Inventory process within subcontracted 3PL service suppliers under our responsibility
  • Preparation and analysis for local market destruction/scrapping process, including documentation and process execution (under customs supervision)
  • Support in management and reconciliation of regional “car stock”


Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):

  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree, in Accounting or Supply Chain management
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
  • Competent with all MS Office applications (Excel proficiency is a must)
  • Experience with ERP systems, currently AX (SAP is preferred)
  • Analytical approach and ability to work independently with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Comfortable working with remote teams and stakeholders
  • Flexible and a quick learner
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English


An advantage would be:

  • Proficiency in German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, or French
