We are recruiting our Strategic Account Manager, Energy Transition/Renewables, several locations possible across EMEA (Austria, Netherlands, Germany, France and United Kingdom)
What You'll Do
The Strategic Account Manager – Energy Transition is a strategic, consultative sales and marketing professional responsible for managing relationships and driving growth with a focused set of assigned key accounts in the EMEA region. This critical role shapes and executes Eaton's Electrical Sector sales strategy for these strategic customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Planning and Management:
- Develop comprehensive Strategic Account Plans (SAPs) and deliver tailored value propositions and solutions.
- Collaborate with global and regional sales teams to align account plans with Eaton's overall strategy.
- Driving Accelerated, Profitable Growth:
- Serve as the primary customer interface, leading the sales, service, and support teams to execute account growth plans.
- Leverage Eaton's full electrical portfolio to meet and exceed customer requirements.
- Establish deep domain expertise in the global Electrical Sector for each assigned account.
- Relationship and Alliance Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-suite and key decision-makers within the assigned accounts.
- Contribute to Eaton's overall strategy, providing voice-of-customer insights and fostering teamwork.
- Initiate and manage strategic alliances, commercial agreements, and pricing negotiations.
- Strategic Initiatives and Thought Leadership:
- Engage customers in new product/service development and serve as a beta site for Eaton's offerings.
- Provide strategic input to marketing and operations to develop tailored solutions.
- Establish Eaton as an industry thought leader by representing the company as a credible spokesperson.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a business-related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development
- Proven track record of achieving business success as a sales leader
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in leading teams
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with C-level executives
- Fluent in English, with intercultural awareness
