Homeoffice Product Management Bootcamp Auxiliary (Substitute) Instructor - Fully Remote

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Product Management Auxiliary (Substitute) Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product management concepts, methodologies, and tools as well as previous teaching or TA experience. The role involves teaching various aspects of product management, from strategic planning and market analysis to product lifecycle management and data-driven decision-making.

This position is open candidates based in North America (preference for Eastern Standard time zone) and the role is 100% remote. The next cohort runs from September to February with evening classes from 6:30-9pm EST on Tuesdays and Thursdays plus monthly labs on Wednesdays. The Auxiliary Instructor may be asked to sub classes from time to time (with advance notice).

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and comprehensive classroom sessions, workshops, and hands-on projects in product management, utilizing a learner-centered approach.
• Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and mentorship to students as they work on their product case studies, assignments and projects.
• Demonstrate proficiency in product management tools and methodologies, such as SQL, Jira, Figma, and Agile practices.
• Share real-world experiences, case studies, and insights from the product management industry.
• Utilize your past experience in Product Management to create real-world examples you can blend with class content to help drive exceptional learning outcomes.
  
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in product management, with a track record of successful product development and management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Expertise: Proficiency in product management methodologies, tools, and practices.
• Instructional Abilities: Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
• Creativity: Innate creative thinking and the ability to inspire and nurture creativity in students.
• Mentorship: Experience in mentoring and guiding students or junior product managers.
• Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to evolving curriculum needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Team Player: A collaborative attitude, eager to contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
• Continuous Learning: A proactive attitude towards ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
