Who We Are Looking For
Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire life cycle of an application to include analysis, coding, testing, and documentation. You will partner with teammates and management to help design, build, and maintain products and features to be used by internal and external customers. This is a fast paced, dynamic environment filled with exciting opportunities to make a difference.
We’re looking for people with a background and interest in building successful products or systems, comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces, have amazing attention to detail, and you’re comfortable learning new technologies and systems.
This is a full-time, remote position.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Design backend software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop high-quality code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Implement automated tests to validate software functionality and performance.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues in a timely manner.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Participate in development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, functional reviews and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with team members to improve development processes and productivity.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; or related work experience.
- 2+ years of previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields.
- Experience using Java and SQL.
- Thorough understanding of: Spring Boot, Rest APIs.
- Comfortable learning and using our technology: We leverage modern tools like Datadog, Kafka, SQL, Gitlab, Google Cloud Platform, Stack Overflow for Teams and more.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Knowledge of React, Redux and its core principles is preferred.

Pay range (US based applicants): $95,172 - $119,000 (annualized)
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, certifications, relevant education and training, while also considering internal equity.
