What you’ll be doing

  • Develop robust Python code for our ETL data pipeline, web applications, and APIs
  • Architect and administer cloud (AWS/Azure) infrastructure.
  • Administer customer-specific Dimensions instances running on Kubernetes clusters.
  • Plan, design and enhance automation processes, utilities and tools.
  • Put into place release processes, infrastructure and tools.
  • Help improve the reliability, scalability and performance of our systems.
  • Work in a Federal and agile environment
What you’ll bring to the role
  • Core requirement:
    • Strong hands on experience in a Python environment
  • At least two items below are also required:
    • Key Interest in DevOps and AWS/Azure cloud administration (architecting for scalability and high performance) with Kubernetes and Docker
    • High familiarity with distributed systems and web technology, e.g., web services, message queues
    • Proficiency in database systems and design with Oracle and PostgreSQL
    • Experience with Solr, Elasticsearch and/or Lucene would be nice
    • Strong experience with Linux administration and shell scripting
    • Experience with Nginx
  • Understanding of agile methodologies
  • Must be a self-learner, possessing inherent inquisitiveness
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills
