Job TitleFull Stack Developer (Next.js & Electron) – RemoteJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with at least 3 years of experience working on medium to large-sized applications.You will join our team to develop and optimize a scalable, real-time application built with Next.js and Electron.The ideal candidate is proficient in both front-end and back-end development, can independently handle project requirements, and brings a strong attention to detail and code quality.Responsibilities - Develop and maintain a cross-platform desktop application using Next.js, Electron, and TypeScript.
- Implement user authentication (including OAuth) and integrate with third-party APIs for data retrieval and processing.
- Build scalable front-end components using modern frameworks like React and use libraries like ShadCN.
- Create, manage, and optimize backend APIs, database queries, and server-side logic.
- Implement basic unit tests, and conduct thorough debugging.
Requirements - 3+ years of full stack development experience in medium to large-sized applications.
- Proficient with Next.js, React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience with API development and integration using REST or GraphQL.
- Strong understanding of modern front-end best practices, state management, and component design.
- Familiarity with database operations, data processing, and handling asynchronous functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Nice-to-Haves - Experience with UI component libraries like ShadCN or Tailwind CSS.
- Knowledge of data validation libraries, OAuth protocols, and cloud storage (e.g., AWS S3).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging best practices.
Interview Process - Screening Call (10-15 minutes):
- Brief introduction and overview of your experience with relevant tech stacks.
- Discussion of project examples where you implemented complex integrations or worked in a full stack capacity.
- Answer any high-level questions about the role, team, and expectations.
- Live Pair Programming Session (20-30 minutes):
- You’ll be asked to complete a short programming exercise involving front-end and back-end tasks, such as creating an API endpoint or a simple UI component.
- This will test your problem-solving approach, coding style, and how you communicate and work collaboratively.
- After the exercise, there will be a quick debrief to discuss your approach.
