You will have part in the disruption of the health care industry and will help deliver better patient care.As a team member in our team, you’ll be responsible and lead efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support health care platform, applications, and our end users. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. The role will generally accept applications for at least three calendar days from the posting date or as long as the job remains posted.ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in software tasks associated with the design, development, and troubleshooting API services. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Education
  • 4+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Application, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience with a Master’s degree in computer science/application or equivalent
Knowledge And Skills
  • Ability to translate requirements into design specifications for APIs
  • Ability to train and mentor developers with API development tools
  • Highly proficient in API Lifecycle management – Requirement analysis, Design, Implementation, Unit test case preparation and execution, Code reviews and Delivery
  • Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development
  • Highly proficient with API Design specifications using swagger or similar tools
  • Experience with creation and execution of Test Cases via ReadyAPI, Postman or similar tools. Publish API’s using OpenAPI or similar tools
  • Proficiency with any public cloud services and infrastructure. Experience developing Cloud based SaaS based applications preferred
  • Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative and energetic environments.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design aspects.
  • Plan, track, manage deliverables on short term sprints, and long-term software deployments.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced Agile DevOps team contributing and collaborating with the scrum team on daily-basis.
  • Participate in all phases of Agile methodology (planning, grooming, coding sprint items)
  • Health care product development experience preferred
Technical Skills
  • 4+ years of developing enterprise distributed and/or cloud native Systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to write great code in Java. Proficiency in Java frameworks, SDK’s
  • 4+ years of experience in API development using microservices frameworks such as Micronaut, Helidon, Spring boot, Spring Cloud.
  • Must have strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and deployments. Shepherd and terraform.
  • Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices
  • Strong Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Gain knowledge and control of client integration endpoints (live API's, Batch, Queue based processing)
