Flexing It has partnered with Our client, a Leading Global Specialist in Energy Management and Automation, is seeking a Hardware Product Owner to work closely with product management, software development, and cross-functional teams to capture, prioritize, and translate hardware requirements into detailed user stories. This role is integral to the agile development process, ensuring that user stories align with both user needs and business objectives while incorporating technical considerations and performance metrics essential to hardware development and testing. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with product management, software developers, and other stakeholders to define hardware requirements, prioritize features, and craft detailed user stories that capture user needs, acceptance criteria, and technical aspects. Ensure user stories reflect end-user perspectives, align with business goals, and provide clear guidance for hardware development and testing teams. Work cross-functionally to refine user stories, validate assumptions, and adapt to changing project dynamics, supporting a shared understanding of desired hardware functionality and performance. Use user story mapping techniques to visualize and organize development tasks, promoting transparency, collaboration, and alignment throughout the agile hardware development process. Advocate for the inclusion of internal factors such as hardware architecture, performance needs, and technical limitations within user stories to enable comprehensive planning and execution. Skills Required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. Proven experience in hardware development with a focus on agile methodologies. Strong leadership and team guidance skills, with the ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams. Expertise in hardware design, testing, validation, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in project management tools, version control systems, and agile project management software. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with industry standards, compliance requirements, and product certification processes.
