Homeoffice PHP Developer with verification

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and refactor legacy PHP systems to improve code quality and functionality.
• Apply SOLID design principles in architectural decisions, handling MVC, MVVM, and both monolithic and microservice architectures.
• Contribute to client-side development with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Work with Apache and AWS (e.g., EC2, Auto Scaling) for efficient server and cloud configurations.
• Develop scalable APIs and integrations, adhering to best practices and security standards.

Must-have Skills:

• 6+ years’ experience in PHP development (or 8 years in relevant experience) and a background in Computer Science.
• Proficiency in MySQL and creating unit tests for high-quality, testable code.
• Familiarity with Apache server configuration and source control tools.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, security considerations, and code review best practices.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Yii PHP Framework (versions 1.1 and 2.2).
• Experience with Test Driven Development and Nginx.
• Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, Auto Scaling, RDS) and AzureDevOps CI/CD pipelines.
