As our Software Engineer | Growth, you will own the online check-out experience for the millions of people in the US looking for reliable phone service. You will use data, software, and your experience and understanding of UX/UI to create a purchasing experience for consumers and businesses that captures the tremendous demand we're seeing in the market.

๐Ÿš€ You will...

  • Design the best online check-out experience for our customers, obsessing over funnel metrics and optimizing the user journey for conversion rate.
  • Drive business goals through experiments and metric-driven software development
  • Use various tools (Hotjar, Mixpanel, etc) to understand they "why"s behind user behavior and run experiments to discover what influences behavior change
  • Work with our Product Designer and Head of Product to understand where the greatest opportunities are to be found and collaborate on best solutions
  • Own funnel metrics and be accountable to the outcome (there will not be a product manager running your work)

  • A true Software Engineer who has always had a focus on front-end and an eye for design
  • Well-versed across the stack. We use Typescript, Next.js and Go
  • Passionate about funnel metrics, conversion rates, product analytics, UX/UI, user behavior
  • Collaborative and enjoy working with multiple teams
  • An excellent communicator with native or close to-native English skills
  • Results-driven and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Startup experience is necessary
  • Passionate about learning and open to new domains or technology; you're willing to dive into documentation/videos, talk to your teammates, and experiment to become well-versed

๐Ÿ’ธ Compensation

The salary range for this role is from $80,000 to $120,000 USD/year + equity. Total compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate. These factors include (but are not limited to) job-related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees, and specific work location.
