Position Overview
Autodesk’s Media and Entertainment Industry Futures research group explores forward looking prototypes to help understand and develop technology that will shape the future of movies, games, and other media. Within this role you will specialize in creating virtual environments and leveraging them to explore AI powered workflows, simulations, and playable experiences. You will investigate emerging AI technologies and explore the viability of their less-obvious use cases in various forms of media creation. You will also contribute to research engineering efforts in adjacent areas, such as contributing to the data pipelines in and out of your research tools and supporting team members on real time aspects of their projects. Meanwhile a mentor will help to guide you as you apply and improve a variety of skills, while maximizing your research impact.

About The US Intern Program
The 2025 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 19 – August 8 or June 16 – September 5). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development.
