Overview
Software Engineering is the application of a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the development, maintenance, and operation of software. PowerSchool Software Engineers apply these principles to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of our software systems as well as the tools and processes the organization needs to build, maintain, and operate our software systems over time.
We are seeking a Senior Developer with a strong background in Elixir, Phoenix LiveView, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in staying current with the latest trends in the Elixir community and ecosystem. We value the journey of continuous learning and growth, and we warmly welcome individuals who have transitioned from K-12 education into coding.
Responsibilities
We design education planning and analysis software for K-12 schools, districts, and states. Our software empowers educators to make data-driven decisions to enhance student outcomes. A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $77,500 – $167,700. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
