Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Junior Java Developer to join our team.Location Remote.The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NJ, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.The successful candidate will be accountable to

• Working with a highly technical team in an Agile environment in order to provide timely, effective, and customized software solutions
• Facilitating the flow of continuous development with the integration of unit testing / testing best-practices throughout
• Working alongside Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Developers

Keeping up-to-date with the most recent coding standards and infrastructure technologies

• Developing highly optimized code
• Performing analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of large-scale and distributed applications

Experience, Education & Training

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience in the IT subject area
• 5+ years developing server side applications with Java
• 4+ years developing with REST API
• 3+ years developing with HTML, CSS, Javascript and JSP.

3+ years of experience with source control and project tracking systems (e.g. Git, Bitbucket, Jira)

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Deep understanding of relational databases and proficiency with SQL

Strong understanding of working with a team which implements CI/CD pipeline automation, unit / integration testing and modern development practices such as Test Driven Development

• Experience creating unit tests using JUnit; understanding of what is required to

consistently achieve sufficient code coverage

• Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
• A security + certification is required
