Responsibilities

• Ability to query, analyze and summarize data using SQL (SMSS, Databricks) to develop a complete knowledge of the data in service of developing data science models (Python, Databricks) for customer data (casino loyalty program) including for example customer lifetime value, churn and sensitivity to communications and offers.
• Take responsibility and collaborate with the marketing analytics team on all aspects of data science model creation, refinement and sustainment, including identifying and resolving bad data, selecting the best model, identifying the best variables, training the model, ensuring that the results are accurate and usable, presenting the findings to our internal partners, retraining, enhancing and sustaining the model over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field
• Querying large data repositories and databases using SQL
• Programming in Python for data science purposes
• Databricks experience preferred
• Experience developing, training and deploying data science models; experience with customer data models such as lifetime value and churn preferred
• Experience working in data scientist and/or data analyst roles; with hospitality, casino, hotel, food and beverage, or retail experience preferred
