Remote Back End Engineer

Company DescriptionHorego is a F&B discovery apps and platform for B2B and B2C with mission to help people eat better, live better.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Back End Developer role at Horego. As a Back-End Developer, you will be involves participating in the overall application life-cycle, integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic, and defining and communicating technical and design requirements. Responsibilities include building reusable code and libraries, optimizing the application for speed and scalability, and supporting services in production. The role also involves providing documentation, troubleshooting and debugging applications. This is a hybrid role, located in South Jakarta, with flexibility for some remote work.Qualifications

• Any background or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer
• Experienced with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases
• Proficient in application development using GoLang, Python, Java
• Ability to write correct and clean code
• Ability to design databases and optimize queries
• Good knowledge of modern programming paradigms and design patterns
• Familiarity with code repository workflow (e.g., Git)
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and impact on company success
• Ability to adapt to our programming standards and contribute to improving them
